On the 23rd October I will be spending the weekend at Alexander Palace, stamping and generally getting messy with Creative Expressions. Really looking forward to this, it is a fabulous show, so come along, and bring your shopping trolley!!

I am then, on the 4th November, going to be doing another workshop, this time in Faversham, in the brand new shop owned by my friend Jennie and her hubby. Really looking forward to seeing what wonders Jennie has filled the shelves with...it's gonna be good! If you would like to book, again places are limited, but you will need to contact Jennie for this one either by telephone on 01795 597757 or via her web site, which is The Artistic Stamper.

Now, very excited to be taking part in the Ideal Home Christmas Exhibition. This runs for 5 days, from the 14th November. I will be doing two demo's a day, only 30 mins each, and then shopping!!!! I am extremely excited and think it's an incredible opportunity.

I hope to see some of you on my travels xxx

The lovely Corinne and her fabulous creations

Been a bad blogger again!! I took these photo's not last week, but the week before, and kept meaning to blog them but kept forgetting. The lovely Corinne makes beautiful kits, the quality is fantastic and her simple, clean and elegant designs look like they have cost a fortune. And she is such a lovely lady as well....do check her kits out on C&C

I've picked up some cards, check these web sites out (some of them may not have sites, so it may be a search!!):

So much choice....marvellous place for early Xmas shopping.

Ok, love you and leave you, noodles and shows awaits!!

Art everywhere

Edinburgh is such a creative city. It's obviously an amazing month for a huge collaboration of art, but the shops are so brilliant as well. Even down to the sandwich shops, it's not a constant repetition of Starbucks, etc etc.

Look at these shoes in one of the book shops, how beautiful are these.

It's a place that makes you want to go home and make something...or not go home!!

A room with a view

Talk about a beautiful day and a wonderful view. From our apartment we can see Arthur's seat, we plan not to just admire it, but to climb to the top. Carry on smiling mr sun!

Embossing Folders and ribbon

Just a couple of quick photo's of the ATC's being sent out this time. These were made using the lovely paper from the Kraft Core Tim Holtz Co-ordinations pad, this was embossed with two different folders, one being the beautiful peacock feathers on Courtship, and the second the very popular Constellations. I sanded these back and then added a little scrap paper, torn and inked with my Distress Inks. A little of the black crochet ribbon, and the green vintage ribbon, then using my new Kuratake pens, I wrote my thank you message. This is a touch of stella - so has a lovely glitter shimmer. Add dots to the pattern to finish the project, and then send out to your lovely customers.

Workshop, ribbon and holidays

It's been a while since I blogged, again, I have fits and starts with it don't I! This one is just an information on really, firstly to get excited about HOLIDAYS!!! Next week I am off on my holidays to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and our lovely Andrea is off camping, so it means no one will be looking after the web site!! Whoops. So, to apologise in advance for delays on orders I am offering everyone free P&P. Hooray. This isn't limited to how many orders you place either. The deadline to get your orders in, to qualify for the free P&P, is the 12th August, when we're both back and can work like little trojans! All you need to do is place the word HOLIDAY in the relevant place when your checking out (it will ask you if you have a discount code or voucher number). Don't worry, the hairy kids are being babysat of course, so really it's a holiday for them as well (without even leaving home!).

That's my first bit of news, secondly we have booked another workshop, yippee. This will be held on the 16th September, and we are visiting St Albans again. Really looking forward to it, and we have some lovely stuff to craft with. The classes will be split again between the wonderful Sandy and myself, at half time our Andrea will make sure we are fed and watered, and then in the afternoon you crafters swap and Sandy and myself do it all again with the second group. We have decided to strart at 10am this time, which gives us a little more time to get there and set up. There will be plenty of goodies to purchase as well...even more than last time. For the full day, which includes all the products you are using together with refreshments during the day and a very hearty lunch (not just a few butties), it will be £40. To book just follow this link:

WORKSHOP

Goodies to purchase, well I have to mention the new ribbon we have got. It is absolutely beautiful. I have included some luxurious velvets to our collection, the most georgeous pleated ribbon, and the horizontal satin - incrediable. Really lovely stuff, please have a look by following this little link:

RIBBON

As I type, I'm surrounded with ribbon. Not a bad place to be eh!

Well folks, I will love you and leave you for now. Enjoy the free P&P, although it'll take us a little longer to get the parcels to you...but on my return I'll make sure I crack on!

Take care, and of course, happy crafting

xx
