A MONTH to go!!! Let us reminisce and have a challenge

A month.  The hairdresser is booked, and I've bought a new frock - so I'm ready :)

I promised I would share some photos of the lovely wedding we went to at the weekend.  My brilliant cousin Robert married the beautiful Sadiah - it was such a nice day.  And you will see where the inspiration for a stamp range may be emerging!!

Sad crafted the menu and gifts :)

Look at the detail of the henna - absolutely stunning

It was amazing to see all the incredible outfits - and the henna. Amazing.

Now, a little bit of craft.  I missed the Throwback Thursday, or whatever I was calling it on Friday!!  So, I decided to to a Memory Monday!  This card was one I did at a workshop up at Debbi Moores shop.  We had such a good weekend, the ladies were lovely.  This was another technique I saw from the Woodware team.  You simply take a piece of double side adhesive sheet, and cut panels out of it.  Peel of the panels, one at a time, and add glitter, mica, metal flakes...whatever you fancy.  It's so easy, but really effective.

Now, when I do a throwback day, I also ask you to set me a challenge.  So, what 3 things would you like me to work with?  I do love this challenge - someone will be picked out at random.  Please reply on the blog after this posting.  Can't wait to see what you throw at me :)

  12. Can see now where the inspiration for your wedding card came from Leonie such rich and vibrant colours in the outfits. Having been having a real sort out of my craft room I found things I haven't used in ages and no doubt you have some of these as well so my challenge is adhesive ribbon strips, duck tape and brads. Basically I'm looking for ideas to use them! ! Best wishes Jackie x
