Okay, yesterday I promised I'd use at least one of those backgrounds I created. I did have a question about matting and layering, so I've made sure I took photographs to show you how I manage to do it, and get it close :)
This is the background I decided to use - and a lovely Woodware stamp
I stamped and embossed in white
and then decided to paint the flowers in white acrylic paint. I then started to mat and layer. I don't measure anything, its all guess work. I line up the top and right hand side, and then make a mark at the bottom and the left as to where you need to cut the card to make it even. I then cut this down.
I then mat and layered this up with blue card
I finished with a little bit of stickles glitter glue, and some white pearlescent PVA
