40 days to go

40 days. Not going to lie, the excitement/panic has truly set in!! The last couple of nights I haven't been able to sleep as my head has been buzzing with all the things i need to do. I write them down, and have actually been doing them! That makes a change. I've sussed out how to add a page to my blog, so I'll be able to announce the Design Team and they will have a separate area for their work! How exciting.

Today I decided to give myself a Flashback Friday. I like doing this, and seeing what stuff I've done in the past.

The card I want to share is one I made using the first set of stamps I brought out, along with a cd, with Debbi Moore. I was really chuft with this range - and although they were on C&c, they never actually put me on to guest them, or even made a big deal about them. Quite disappointing, but there you go.

For this card I used my sentiment stamp, and then masked it off, so when I over stamped my trees, they look as though they are sitting behind my sentiment.

I love that sentiment as well. I'm a big fan of good words :)

Now, it's challenge time again. I want someone to pick 3 things for me to work with. It might be an egg box, string and a Pom Pom. Please don't choose that!! That would be horrendous. Anyway, I'll pick someone's challenge at random - and the piece of work I complete will be won by the person who set the challenge. I like this game, and look forward to seeing what you come up with....go

I haven't seen your stamps before but they are lovely, you're a very talented lady! My challenge is things I have and dont know what to do with them, little pegs with chalk hearts on them, neon tags and a hessian embossing folder. I don't think I'd use them together but it's supposed to be a challenge right? Best of luck with whatever you choose x

I regularly watch C&C although I'm changing tact now as I don't like how they favour a certain person's products all of the time and have never seen your stamps either. They look gorgeous, and look forward to seeing them on your next adventure.
3 things ummm! Something similar to somebody else's comment. SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING BLUE.
PS I like quotes/sentiments too

I have your CD but not the stamps and I do remember them being on c&c on a Debbi Moore show. Felt that it was wrong you didn't get to guest with them,Nigel did with his CDs and Dawn with her range.
Oh well things are going too change I hope with your new range(can't wait to see it) and your new home where ever that might be:)
Love this card and I think words are so important on a card. It is great to have something other than Happy Birthday, not that that isn't useful!
Challenge, well I'm changing mine as someone else has already picked the three I was going to so- parchment, pens and gilkding flakes.
Have fun whatever you choose.

Hi Leonie, I never saw your stamps either, wish I had as the trees are fab, will we be able to get them when you appear "somewhere " on our screens in 40 days? not long now.
My three things : parchment or vellum , versa mark pad and embossing powder (that's one) and a flower die, this purely because whenever I try these , the embossing always flakes off, sorry if that's selfish of me.
Best Wishes Lilian in Cornwall
