This was my favourite card from the POD shows. I love the way you can use this die for weaving your ribbon. It looks really effective and makes the frame sit proud, so really creating depth. This was quite an easy card to make as well. All I did was cut the frame, using the smaller lattice die in the centre, matted and layered the paper and card and then added a sentiment in the centre! How simple is that. I did do a little distressing as well around the edges of the paper - but really that was it. Simple but very effective.

A bit Christmassy
Another quick post as I have 1 million and 1 jobs to do, an early morning and then a 3 hour drive. Brilliant. All to have "fun". Mmmmm, at the moment a nice bath and a large bottle of wine sounds about as much fun as I can handle....ah well.
This card was made using the edgeabilities. I love these dies. They are so adaptable and pretty. I cut the card so I had a fancy edge, and then cut the mirri card to sit behind, so you can see it through the design. I used one of the labels sets to break up the patterned card and allow the flowers to show properly. This is such an easy card, but the dies really make it look amazing.
As ever, I finished the card with my trusty cosmic shimmer pva.

A little Birdy
Hi again crafters. Ill have to make this one a quick post as I am trying to print off my sisters wedding invites, pack parcels for my lovely web site customers...oh and get ready for work!! All go.
This card again was made using one of the lovely spellbinders dies again, but this time I have cut the smaller lattice die twice and placed then together, they over lap perfectly so you can not tell they are actually two separate dies. They create two panels, which I have simply mat and layer with card and then pretty papers from Tonic. I cut some of the extra images out from the papers to decoupage to give dimension to my project. I used one of the matching toppers with a sentiment on and then my trusty cosmic shimmer PVA to finish my project.
Although you have now missed the POD, the spellbinders dies are still available, and the cosmic shimmer is available on my web site.

The craft continues
The next card I made was again using those incredible papers from graphic 45. Bright and beautiful, and just a joy to use.
I also used the fantastic border dies from spellbinders - I love these. You can use them in so many configurations to change every card you make with them.
Now, as the graphic 45 paper is double sided you can use this to make a fantastic card. I used the dies to create the end of the card - whilst the die was in place i inked through the card which really emphasises the embossed detail. I then cut the inside of the card to match. I cut an insert out from the paper and also used the dies to cut a matching fancy edge.
I cut a tiny border which I added to the left of the card and added one of the card stock stickers.
I used the pretty silk crush effect ribbon and then one of the sentiments from the smaller 8x8 pad to finish the card. I glued the sentiment with pinflair so I could tilt it and give it movement.
To finish it's got to be the cosmic shimmer pva - my new fav pearl white.
Perfect for every card.
All the spellbinders and the graphic 45 are featured today as our pick of the day on ideal world at incredible prices.

Pick of the Day!
Well, after a whirlwind prep, tonight is the launch of our craft POD. There's loads of offers, some real crackers, so I hope you'll be able to join me.
I didn't have bags of time to prep, but what cards I did manage to make I will share on here.
Can I also say thank you to all those who have volunteered to be my guest designer on my web site. I have made my decision and just need to get in touch with the lucky lady and send her loads of stuff to play with! Whoop whoop.
Now, the first card is bright and beautiful and made with my favourite range of papers, graphic 45. I have also used the really handy square dies from spellbinders. I love the simple dies, they have so many uses.
First I cut out my squares. I planned which flowers I wanted to be falling "out" of the square - the large flower that I've allowed to sit in the corner, then the smaller rounder flower. The paper is made up of a repeat pattern meaning I can easily use it for decoupage. Whilst the die was still in place I inked around the edges of the card to emphasise the colours. Remove the dies and then cut some plain green square.
I matted my squares onto light yellow card to match the colours of the paper, then onto the blue paper from the pad. I cut the matching flowers from my paper and curled them to give them shape. I decoupaged them using pinflair glue.
To finish my card I added a couple of prima paper butterflies, cosmic shimmer pva and glitter glue. Hope you can tune in tonight at 9pm on ideal world :)

Blogging
So, you may have noticed I'm a bit rubbish with this blogging malarky...soz :) however lots of folk have design teams for their blogs and web sites....so I've decided not to have a team, but each month (hopefully...probably build up to that) ill have a "designer spotlight" spot!!
If you are interested please pop a picture of your work either on here, fb or twitter - or give me a link to an album etc you may already have set up, plus a way i can contact you. I know there's lots of amazingly talented folk out there, so I know it'll be hard to pick only one a month - but we'll see how it goes.
Thank you ladies and gentlemen, I can't wait to hear from you :)

Great british craft festival 2013
Thank you to everyone who came along at the weekend and made the show such good fun. I loved doing the workshops with my mate Nigel, and having a really good giggle with Phil, Dawn, Jodie, Craig and the amazing hunkydory team. They did an incredible job and it was a mega success. I also got a free gift!! Love it!!
We did a decopatch workshop and make and take, which I completely love. I'll share a few pics.
Again, brilliant weekend. Massive thanks to the Hunky team for inviting me xxx
